The Bride

Catherine

Choosing family over an unreasonable amount of sunshine, Catherine packed up her life in South Africa and armed with four children, a mountain of suitcases, and nerves of steel- returned to the land of her forefathers.

She crossed continents and seas to land safely with her Mum and David, rebuilt and absolutely thrived. Romance, meanwhile was carefully filed under “hard no.”

Years later, with the children grown and the house suspiciously quiet, Catherine made the fateful decision to try modern dating, it was, in a word…bleak.

Undeterred (but only just), she battled her way through the dating swamp. Dodging disasters, side-stepping nonsense, and fighting indifference she gave it one last go.

And somehow…against all odds…she found a diamond.
A very rough diamond-but importantly, still a diamond.
